Meet some of our Creative Partners:
Sinuhe Xavier is perhaps the only washed up professional skier to become an award winning commercial director and photographer having shot for Ford, Toyota, Gillette and Spinal Tap. After co-writing the Sony Dreams short "Little Pony" with Filip Engstrom at Smuggler, Sinuhe directed two projects with Creative Artists Agency: the first was his critically acclaimed stop motion Lego piece for eBay's "Let Them Post" campaign (featured in Creativity, Boards and Shoot); he next directed Rob Reiner, Christopher Guest, Harry Shearer and Michael McKeon for Spinal Tap's 2009 twenty-five year Reunion Tour. High profile spot work followed. Sinuhe directed Tiger Woods and Derek Jeter for Gillette, Michael Strahan for Subway, and Steve Casimiro on several segments for National Geographic. Most recently he has brought automotive campaigns to life with humanity for Toyota, Ford and Jeep. Over the past several years, advertising agencies BBDO, TBWA Chiat Day, Saatchi, 180LA and Euro RSCG have all turned to Sinuhe to bring their unique visions to life. He has been published in National Geographic Adventure, Overland Journal, Print and Transworld Snowboarding magazines and has also shot for Burton Snowboards, Nike, Volvo, Toyota, Marmot and EA Sports.
Sinuhe acts as our in-house creative director consulting on marketing concepts, strategies and creative content for feature films such as danny Boyle's 127 Hours and Trance as well as Hitchcock and Reese Witherspoon's WILD. Check out his tumblr.
There aren't many folks like Cat Solen in the world. She encompasses everything creative. Cat isn't just a director; she's an artist, a visionary, and collaborator who manages to bridge the gap between the art world and commercial production. Her artistic ventures can be seen with her partnership with Swoon for MOCA and her installations at SoHo House, as well as more mainstream successes with commercials for retailers like Burger King, Sonic and Sony Pictures. Cat does it all. She pays such attention to detail that her storyboards look like a masterfully illustrated storybook that could stand in a gallery on their own. Not only is she a solo powerhouse, she's also collaborated with heavy hitters like Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Michel Gondry, Bright Eyes and Sia with groundbreaking results. Most recently she's been a regular over at Adult Swim as well as directing an episode of Garfunkel and Oates with Fred Savage. Cat Solen is like… a combo meal, instead of getting just a plain director; you also get a side of artist and a large visionary to complete the whole package. She's the best bang for you buck, and the most satisfying!
